Plant Tour

The following slide show is a virtual tour of our facility in Oakboro, North Carolina.

Parent rolls of paper are received and placed into inventory after being inspected. We have 200,000 square feet of manufacturing and warehouse space in our main building on Main St. and an additional 55,000 square feet of warehouse at our 5th St facility. We maintain a large inventory of parent rolls to protect ourselves and our customers from shortages due to disruptions at our suppliers' mills.

The parent rolls are brought out onto the factory floor to run on one of our five lines of converting equipment. We currently have an ITAL 505, an ITAL 500 and an ITAL R350 that run jumbo tissue, hard wound roll towels and centerpull towels. We have a Bretting 631 five lane multifolder and a Perini 716B standard bath tissue machine with back stand.

We manufacture all of our own cores on site which allows us to offer custom core sizes to fit all makes of dispensers. We can also provide adaptors to allow standard cores to work in proprietory dispensing systems.

Finished goods are packaged into one of our "Blue Ridge" or "Ecowise" brand printed cartons or into one of our private label cartons. These are palletized and are either staged ready to ship in our shipping area, or they are added to our inventory lanes of stock finished goods.
